FliKEZE: Clinical Coverage Without the Clinic Bill
Members Lab | Tools Worth Knowing
Most home devices emit one or two wavelengths. That is not necessarily a flaw, but it is a limitation. The published research on photobiomodulation spans a much wider spectrum.
The primary target of red and near-infrared light in the body is cytochrome c-oxidase, an enzyme in the mitochondrial electron transport chain. When photons reach this enzyme, downstream effects include increases in ATP production, modulation of nitric oxide, and activation of signaling pathways involved in cellular repair and inflammation.
Not all wavelengths reach the same tissue depth. Near-infrared light reaches maximum penetration around 810 nm, useful for muscle and deeper structural recovery. Red light at shorter wavelengths works closer to the surface which is relevant for skin, collagen, and superficial inflammation.
FliKEZE runs seven clinical wavelengths, covering the full range from surface skin repair to deep tissue recovery, in three targeted devices:
SpectraPanel — full-body panel for recovery and systemic exposure
PhotonMask — clinic-grade LED for the face
NeoNeck — orthopedically designed for cervical care
For cervical tension specifically, a randomized, triple-blinded, placebo-controlled trial of 72 patients with chronic nonspecific neck and shoulder pain found that photobiomodulation therapy significantly reduced pain intensity compared to placebo, with effects measured through seven days after the final treatment session.
What drew me to FliKEZE beyond the science is the price. Devices with this wavelength range typically sit at professional or clinical price points. FliKEZE brings that full spectrum home at a fraction of the cost.
If you have been curious about red light therapy and want to start with something that covers the full clinical range without the clinic bill, this is worth exploring.
